Our Big Al Hits Dingers shirt pays homage to Little League World Series sensation Alfred Delia. Portions of all proceeds will be donated to his college fund, as well as to his Middletown Little League team.
Back home they call him Big Al. And he hits dingers. Well back home they call us RotoWear. And we make t-shirts. So after we saw his awesome ESPN introduction video and received numerous requests, we had to make a tee to shout out our favorite young slugger.
The shirt quickly became a hit, being featured in articles on Yahoo! Sports, Trib Live and more. And once we sold more than a handful, we realized that the right thing to do would be to get in contact with his family and make sure they were A) cool with it, and B) would have a say in where a portion of the proceeds went. Their wishes were for part to go towards Al's college fund, and part towards his Little League team, which both sounded like fantastic ideas to us.
Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman is a fan.
So is MLB.com's Jessica Kleinschmidt.
And so is Big Al himself, along with New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks.
As seen on ESPN, YES Network and MLB.com's Cut4, our original Big Al Hits Dingers shirts are available now – in men's sizes S through 4XL – on a premium quality, athletic fit, Heather Kelly Green tee. And as mentioned before, portions of all proceeds will be donated to his college fund, as well as to his Middletown Little League team. Available only by RotoWear!
